[Solved] Why reenter user name and license info with new version?

Whenever a new version is to be installed (no matter if in beta testing or "real" life) the previous user name and license information should be reused and not required to be reentered every time.

As long as its not a new install username and registrationnumber should not have to be reentered. An update over an existing installation will always preserve existing data.

There is somewhere a recommendation from your side to uninstall the previous version --> reenter becomes necessary...

I found the recommendation - it's in your EasyVFR4 beta update email from Aug, 30.

Yes, uninstall requires reentering credentials indeed. In this case we asked to uninstall first, but normally this is not needed (in fact we’ve never asked to do this before). So normally you dont have to uninstall, so normally there is also no meed to re-enter credentials.
