The team behind EasyVFR (PocketFMS) today launches NOTAMbriefing.com — a free, browser-based tool that plots every relevant European NOTAM and airspace activation on a single live map, in seconds, with nothing to install. Essential access is free for every airspace user; a paid Live upgrade adds Dynamic Airspace Mapping (DYNAM), filters, and printable PDF briefings. The product debuts publicly at AERO Friedrichshafen 2026, Hall A6 · Booth 103.

It answers the three questions pilots ask most often before flying: Is that airspace active? What NOTAMs apply? Does anything affect my route? — in a single glance, on a phone, tablet, or laptop.

Built on authoritative sources
NOTAMbriefing.com draws directly from Eurocontrol EAD and NM B2B, national AIS publications, and live AUP/UUP feeds, combined with the PocketFMS AeroData database that has powered flight tools in the industry for two decades. One browser tab, all official data, always current.

Why we built it
NOTAMbriefing.com began as an internal web map — a way to verify our rebuilt data pipelines were working correctly. Two years later, it's the first public product running on that new platform: faster feeds, 200% redundancy, real-time processing. After a year of beta and a pre-release to several thousand European pilots, organic visitor growth confirmed what we suspected: pilots needed this.

PocketFMS — best known to pilots as the maker of the EasyVFR 4 in-cockpit flight application — has built tools for general aviation for two decades. Its AeroData database powers flight tools across the industry, including EFIS systems such as Dynon SkyView, Advanced Flight Systems and MGL Avionics. NOTAMbriefing.com is the newest addition, and the first public product on the rebuilt data platform.
