- Installation instructions:
- After downloading the DMG file, open it and drag the EasyVFR 4 icon into the Applications folder. EasyVFR 4 is now available via Launchpad.
- When you get the message "EasyVFR4.app can’t be opened because it was not downloaded from the App Store" choose [Open in Finder] from that popup, then right-click on EasyVFR4.app and choose open. Now the same popup will appear, now with a [Open] button.
- From there on you can launch EasyVFR 4 from the launchpad without this warning.
- With every update, you need to redo step 2.
- IMPORTANT:
As advised by the app a new PC release was available. Downloaded it, opened it and then was advised there was a problem with my graphics card so EasrVFR4 was downloading a fix to overcome this.
Nortons 360 the got in the road and said that this download was highly suspicious and not to proceed. Tried to find out where within Norton 360 this was coming from so I could accept this file - no luck.
Re-loaded EasyVFR4, get a brief blank opening screen which subsequently disappears and then nothing.
How can I get back to where I was.
Cheers Peter
Hi Peter,
Norton is a PITA recently :-(. Try running the latest windows installer for EV4 again (you can find it at https://support.easyvfr4.aero/help/download-install-and-activate-easyvfr-4/#windows ), with some luck it will repair the installation. If not, we will try something else.
