First of all: I am working on Linux running the Windows Version of EasyVFR4 (4.8.6) in botlles (wine based).
Mostly EasyVFR is searching for a USB-Drive forever, not finding any USB-Drive.
The USB-Drive is mounted by the Windows Emulation system and accessible via driveletter befor starting EasyVFR4.
Sometimes it finds an USB-Drive after a long time. In most of the tries it finds nothing.
Would it be possible to offer a regular File-Open-Dialog to select the location to store the data on?
It is boaring to wait and wait and nothing happens.

Offering a regular File-Open-Dialog should of course be doable, but to be honest I am a bit reluctant for it because in the past when we used such a dialog it just happened too often that users simply choose their main C: or D: fixed drives as destination. But perhaps a better solution is on the horizon, we are currently wrapping up a dedicated application to create Dynon USB sticks without the hassle to have to use EasyVFR4. More info will come soon 😉

please take into account dual stick creation. I use 2 indential ones for my redundant dual HDX1100 cockpit.I have to run the procedure twice with all known caracteristics.
A feature like "load devices E: and F: would be great.

Heiko, I've never thought about two sticks for the same serialnumber, but it makes very much sense for all cockpits with two skyviews. I just tried it in the Dynon Data Manager (DDM), you can add for example serial 11718 and 011718 (so a prefix zero). This works nice.
