the process is too complicated:
I get the message „new aerodata available“ Download now? OK.
Next window: You have a route active, and need to close it first. OK
Then I have to leave the download process, to close my active route:
Close Route. OK. Confirm you want to close? OK.
And finally I return to the download menu.....
Please give me the option to close the active route AND start the download in the very first window!
Yes, I agree. In fact, closing your route should not be needed at all IMHO. Originally EV4 "parked" any active route, updated aerodata, restored the parked route so for the user nothing seems to have changed route-wise. But there was some nasty crash that could only get fixed (more "by passed" since its not really fixed) by having the user end the route manually. Investigating this is still on my list, to be honest I haven't paid much attention to it after that. I will start doing so next week, maybe the actual cause of this problem is long solved by now, keeping my fingers crossed...
