Is there a possibility to create your own area (airspace) on the map, just for your own awareness draw an area on the map and safe that for your own (later) use.

For example I would like to stay in an area which is not the same as an already defined airspace on the map, but I would like to highlite this area without creating a route to do this.

In fact we played last week with a "sketching feature" where a user can "free draw" using finger or stylus on the map to draw areas or write annotations that then get stored with the flightplan (can be a local flight flightplan also, no need to define an actual route). We didn't implement it yet because it would get lost if the flightplan gets loaded in EV3 and then saved again, and we don't want to create flightplan incompatibility yet between EV3 and EV4, though it is temping to be honest.....

@rob-weijers would it be an idea to make this sketch a transparant map? So that one can super impose this “map” on top of an existing one, via the smart wheel like with an airport map?
