Of course it is vector based and shows incredible detail until the very lowest zoomlevel. But the smart bit is that it fades airspaces that are not active at the time of your flight. It gives a very clean and easy map to work with.
[/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version="3.27.4"]At the feature page on our new website we have posted some examples of how the map gets cleaned up thanks to Smart Airspace Hiding functionality.

To be able to give a reliable indication wether an airspace is active or not, requires a connection with the local airspace managing authorities as well as current NOTAMs. Therefore the SmartMap is not yet 'smart' in every country.

<<< Finland especially is a country that has an intimidating amount of temporary reserved airspaces, so we work hard to get this map cleaned up!

Finland is not alone. Many countries are covered with an extensive patchwork of temporary reserved and danger areas, that are often not active. With EasyVFR 4 we hope to make flying and navigating those countries much easier, especially for foreign pilots.
