Important notice for Apple iOS13/iPadOS13
Dear beta testers,
As you might know, Apple are about to release iOS13 and iPadOS13. The last months we carefully monitored these developments and tested our devices using the various betas that Apple released.
These tests showed no issues for both EasyVFR3 and EasyVFR4, however, the very latest iOS beta showed an issue on one of our test devices (an iPhone XR) with EasyVFR4. The problem does not occur on our other test devices nor with EasyVFR3, but we’re not sure if this is an isolated incident or not.
Therefore, if the use of EasyVFR3 and/or EasyVFR4 is crucial for you, it’s prudent to refrain from installing iOS13/iPadOS13 on your device until we are able to investigate with the actual release version from Apple.
If you decide to wait, then please also make sure you *disable automatic updates for iOS* using Settings->General, option “Automatic Updates”.
As soon as we know the status of EasyVFR3 and/or EasyVF4 on iOS13/iPadOS13 with confidence we will certainly inform you again.

Apple only presents the latest software when updating an ipad or iphone and today that means the only option for ipad users is iPadOS 13.1.2. Have you tested or seen any issues with EasyVFR3 or EasyVFR4 on ipads with the new software?

Thank you for asking. Its been a hard investigation but it looks like we have solved the iOS 13 bug. Currently, we are testing it for both EV3 and EV4. The fix will be included in the next EV4 beta update.
In order to bring the iOS 13 fix to EasyVFR 3, we need to update EasyVFR 3.97.23 in the Apple AppStore. This is a slow process since we need to be absolutely sure that the update does not come with other new bugs or objections from Apple. If you would like to help to test, you can download the EasyVFR 3.97.37 version via TestFlight: https://testflight.apple.com/join/np5mIOYW
If you do the update via TestFlight, we would be happy if you report your findings down below or via helpdesk@pocketfms.com. Please tell if all works as it used to; device model name; and iOS 13 version number.

Many thanks for the update. Unfortunately, I won't be flying for the next month so won't be able to test for a while. The feedback helps with planning for an update to iOS/iPadOS 13 though.
