If for any text input, capitals cannot be respected, this should be reflected by the input field accepting either lowercase or uppercase only. So I won't take the effort to write a nice-to-read mix of lower and upper case letters just to realize afterwards that it wasn't saved.

On the ipad this seems not to be a problem. But I cannot name any user waypoints.
