Volunteers wanted

Would you like to become a part of the technical revolution in aviation?

Today is an exciting time to be active in aviation. While airspace is becoming more complex by the day and general aviation is fighting for space in the more densely populated areas of Europe, there are technical opportunities which could make the life of today’s pilots a lot safer and easier. Here at EasyVFR, we believe that VFR flying can again be as easy and adventurous as it was in the earlier days where there where empty maps, few air routes and flight plans with only direct-tos.
Today we can do auto routing, smart mapping, traffic scanning all to increase situational awareness.

Are you an aviator, enthusiastic about the technical opportunities and would you like to become a part of this technical revolution? Join our team of volunteers as app/web/database developer, translator, vlogger, data marshal, customer officer. Help us bring the world of air navigation to the next level.

Please take a look at our vacancies and if one suits you please fill in the contact form. And if you find a vacancy a perfect fit for someone you know, feel free to share it.

Thanks in advance!

Video manuals and background stories

The end goal for EasyVFR 4 is that the user interface is so strong that you don’t need to read a big manual before using it. But of course, it has so many functionalities, shortcuts, new concepts and use-cases that we need to make a manual.

Think about short screen video combined with written text in de video or on the page below. For now it doesn’t have to be to fancy edited and directed. But if possible that would be awesome too. The tools, subjects and style are completely open. Can be a step by step process explanation. Or for example an interview with team members about the different features EasyVFR 4 has implemented. We do have the technique on our website ready to show it properly and make it easily searchable. But we need hands to create it. Can you or do you know someone who can help us out?

Translator: Spanish, Polish, Italian, Czech, Portuguese and more

easyvfr4.aeroEasyVFR 4 supports the use of multiple UI languages. This means users can choose their preferred language. Our primary development language is English, and we use Google Translate to offer other languages.

Of course, this solution is not perfect. Therefore we are looking for pilots who are familiar with aviation language and terms to help us translate EasyVFR 4 into as many languages as possible on a voluntary basis. You don’t need any programming skills.

What is in it for you?
By helping us translate EasyVFR 4 you make EasyVFR 4 available and usable to many pilots in your own local community or flying club.

Languages that we currently seek translators for:

  • French
  • Spanish
  • Czech
  • Slovak
  • Norwegian
  • Swedish
  • and any other you think is useful

But if you are willing to help us and your language is not in this list, feel free to contact us as well!
