As well as these two buttons being shown on the map, perhaps it would be worthwhile to show them on the route planning screen (at the top, between the text "Route Planning" and the "Route Tools" button? (Or instead have them also on the Route Tools screen?)

Thank you for suggestion Stewart. As you can see I moved it to the "what still needs to be developed" section.
