Is there a way that we can access the stored database info without using EV? At the moment I have been (after the day of flying) export the files from EV4, transfer to a PC to then use for de-briefing, checking landing fees, confirming flight time etc.

It would be nice if we could log in from a computer and access the database of all the recorded track files on the account.....to then open the file in aircrew.

Hi Andrew,

In essence a lot is possible of course; but it would be useful if you could describe the exact use case? What is aircrew? Is it an logbook app of some kind? If so, does it have import facilities ? Anyway, with some more details about what could save you time and effort we can probably do something.

Ah OK, if you don't already have that facility then although it would be useful, there are probably more important things to be working on...in my opinion 😉

I didn't actually mean aircrew, sorry wrong word. We use aircrew to analyse the data from the PilotAware. https://aircrew.co.uk/playback/

Google Earth would generally be my go-to for generally viewing track files.

The idea was just for quickly and easily viewing the details of a flight from a computer that might not be used in any way for flying or flight planning.

The query that caused me to think about this was from someone in the office at one of the businesses I work at who wanted to check how many landing fees were chargeable on a particular flight last month. He doesn't know how to access the track file from the PilotAware, he doesn't have access or the knowledge of how to use EVFR but he would be able to cope with logging into a website to see a list of files and then dragging and dropping the relevant one into something like Google Earth.
