Hi, I can not figure out how to do this. Where is... menu->my Userwaypoints ?
I have created a waypoint named “home” once. This is only possible from the flightplan. Not from “search”.
The waypoint coordinates could not be edited nor removed. After trying a bit, EV4 crashed and “home” was not available anymore.
There are two kind of “user waypoints” referred to here. Maybe we should use “route dependent user waypoints” and “global user waypoints” from now on....
”route dependent waypoints” are waypoints created when defining a route. If these are not existing aerodata objects they get an id like TCKx and are listed in the route window using a blue text :
By tapping on the blue text the waypoint id and name can be changed.
Route dependent userwaypoints get deleted when the route no longer is loaded.
global user waypoints are waypoints that always exists, regardless of what route is loaded. They can be maintained using menu-my user waypoints
thank you, I have found the menu.
But now I really don’t understand why this has been separated from the other user waypoints in such a manner, that nothing can be imported from the map?!
Do I need to write down the coordinates and insert them manually?
I realised also this is a stupid missing functionality . I never use user waypoints, so never thought of it. We are working on a solution to add global user waypoints by tapping on the map, stand by....
Excellent
