in „Readability“ the size button „quickinfo approach plates“ does not seem to change anything.
These approach plates are a bit annoying. They pop up very prominently together with the quickinfo for the airfield. When online and planning something, tapping on a German military field will download several plates. This can not be stopped and it is normally quite useless.
A solution could be to just offer the download, instead of doing it automatically.
I am still struggling with these plate downloads. In Norway for example, tapping an airfield just to learn it’s name or another quick information, it will start an avalanche of plate downloads. During the download progress nothing else can be seen or done.
These approach plates are a real PITA indeed, somehow we can't get them exactly right, every solutions seems to bring another annoyance with it :-(. Thursday we have a meeting with our UI/UX master in Germany to discuss subjects that are not easy to complete using modern telecommunications. Maybe just putting a "download plates" button on the summary window is a possible solution, I don't know.
