When you scroll trough any list also menus that are overlayed over map(like for example notams) and you flick finger to go to the end of list if you pass with your finger to the part with map you also pan the map rapidly.
Hope it is possible to stop paning map unintentionally. Perhaps if you start touching screen outside map area the map won't pan.
Tested on Android app 4.0.559

I see what you mean, not easy to improve in a general matter, but lets see what we can do in specific cases....
