tapping on an airport will always open a brief airport info and plate selection on the left side.

when nothing is selected , the „i“ location and infowheel will disappear after some seconds, leaving the user with an airport info, but without  a marker on the location.  This is confusing in unfamiliar areas.

If however an information from the infowheel was selected and read, it is necessary to close BOTH windows, as the airport window will not close automatically.

That right-side (when using the device portrait the same window will be shown at the bottom) "summary window"  stays on the screen after activation "by design" , to allow continous toggling of approach plates for the selected airfield and to have permanent info to the most important details for the airfield.

Hi, after long time abstinence back actually flying again. On airport info I realized that in Austria almost every airport is indicated with "no fuel" available, although when phoning them up, contrary was evident, i.e. LOLS or LOAU! Are you missing actual airport info on Austria? In some cases runways are not properly aligned with airport marking on map! Stay tuned!

Hi Norbert,

To be honest I dont know the level of detail currently available for Austria. Dave, Marcel and friends are working their way through europe digging up more and more details per airfield, country by country.

Marcel is currently on holiday, but when he’s back I will ask him for a small statusupdate and report back.

@rob-weijers Hi Rob, thanks for the prompt answer. no sweat, don't worry, I just realized that the info given wasn't pertaining to reality so I thought to let you know! I' m now able to fly again more frequently, so I'm able to check EV4 in real conditions! All the best for the team, you're doing a great job!!

Regards Norbert

Hi, the issue for austria at least is still valid. Many fields like LOLS also introduced reporting points which are not shown at all. By the way LOLS changed rwy from 32/14 to 31/13, also not current in EV. Would be good to improve here.

That runway will be updated in the next AeroData, thanks for the tip! However, the Austrian AIP doesn't mention any VRPs for LOLS, nor an updated RWY? I frequently add & update VRPs for the smaller airports as well, but the AIP page for LOLS ( https://eaip.austrocontrol.at/lo/260709/PART_3/AD_2/SRY/AD_2_LOLS/LO_AD_2_LOLS_en.pdf ) mentions both the old RWY and no VRPs . . Any idea where I can find those VRP definitions, perhaps?

After I have been asked at approach to go via N I looked it up on the LOLS homepage. The chart shows the VRPs and is Rogers Air Data

Aha! We figured that AustroControl is the official ANSP for Austria, since they run the AIS and produce the AIP. Odd that a third party like Rogers Data knows these matters before the official ANSP does! I best get into contact with them on the matter then. To be continued!
