hmm, I've seen this a few time myself too, and your post here reminded me to take a look at that. But now I cannot reproduce the issue anymore, that stupid (i) is now shown all the time as long as The QuickInfo window is visible. There must be something I miss to reproduce it....

Mine disappears very quickly.  When I keep the info window open, and just change the tapped location, the „i“ disappears as soon as the window is filled with the new information.

I found one case where it happens in my special debug mode, but you as "normal" user should not be effected by that. I'm puzzled; on what platform (windows, iOS, Android) are you experiencing this? I presume iOS?

I now noticed, that the different tabs of the info window behave differently.

While airports seem to keep the „i“, the other tabs do not.

The airport tab is even smart enough to relocate the i  to the airport in question.  Cycling through the info windows will hide the  „i“ until airports are selected.

I think this is solved in the upcoming version. Its a bit weird seeing the (i) jump between the actual position tapped and the position of the nearest airfield (depending on the page of the quickinfo window shown) but I guess that is unavoidable.
