I find the European overview is missing in EV4.  When navigating in the vicinity of country borders, the map suddenly looses all information on the other side of the border .  Except for the airspaces and weather (very good !)

This was a strongpoint of EV3.  All of Europe was basically available.  There was a rough map that held enough information for a big picture.  But in order to find a foreign place or airport in EV4, I first have to download huge datasets for the respective country.

Why not have a basic European dataset (including airports, towns and big lakes), while the detailed map and NOTAM information is downloaded separately.  This would greatly enhance the broad view and geographical knowledge in the area.
