This topic was solved for the „route planning“ NOTAM page.

But when using the QIW NOTAM info, the text is still cluttering the map.

V924 does not fix it.

from the QIW>NOTAM , I have selected  „tap to view“.  Then this happens:

9B567D64 289F 43C0 98BD 5DA7C8607C2E

1. the repeated text should not be on the map.  And certainly not partially hidden.

2. the original text on the left should be highlighted to indicate what is being looked at.

3. the Circle of interest should be moved to the center of the remaining map area.  Presently it is put to the screen center, hardly visible at all.  I have highlighted it with the square.

Try reducing the QuickInfo window in width so that there is enough room on the remaining right side to dock all buttons on the bottom button bar, as in this screenshot :

Only then the NOTAM text on the map will not be partially hidden and the circle of interest will be moved on the new center.

Basically when the QuickInfo window becomes too wide (same is for routewindow) then EV4 does not use a split screen mode, but simply renders as if the QuickInfo (or RouteWindow) is not there. One could argue the QuickInfo/RouteWindow should not allow to be set that wide to allow this to happen, but that's not an easy thing to do. There are various screensizes/resolutions/magnification levels where this overlapping is preferred over switch to full screen usage of these windows.

The original post indeed is not fixed yet in 4.0.924. I will have a look again.

I played a bit with various layouts, and I think the upcoming version will work more logical.
