The yellow paning arrow that will point from the airplane to the screen center will be mostly hidden by the VPV when the airplane is swiped directly under it.
There is one instance, where the numbers will actually be displayed outside the arrow. Because a big part of the arrow is hidden it is not possible to tap it in order to quickly return to the normal view.

I should add that the above occurs also in portrait view, although not as much.
When an airport quick info is displayed on the bottom, this will move the screen upwards, partially hiding the arrow.
