recently we changed this behavior; Many users found it a waste of storage and time to download all plates and documents for all installed countries. EasyVFR4 now by default offers to download only the plates and documents in a 20nm path with for the current loaded route using StatusCard (the red/amber/green dot that when tapped opens a menu)->data, there at the bottom you will find the option to download plates&documents along your current loaded route.

if you still prefer the old way of downloading all plates and documents of all installed countries you can still do that using

menu->system->Airport plates and documents
